• Haacon semi-trailer landing legs, sold through IMS of Loughborough, incorporate load compensation feet which are said to improve upon the basic wheel segment concept used by Crane Fruehauf. The two compensating feet are about 10% heavier than standard legs and are 30% more expensive.
When the air suspension deflates, an unnatural loading imposed on conventional landin legs. The flat base plate reduce the rolling resistance to the foc by up to 90%, allowing mow ment up to 125mm. This rt lieves the pressure even if th ground is soft or uneven. Whe the legs are raised, rubbe blocks return and hold the sel ments in the central position.
