BLUE CUBE RENTALS, the Beaconside, Stafford-based trailer and container rental business, has entered into administration, resulting in nine job losses. Administrator KPMG was called in on 26 March to deal with the firms remaining assets and outstanding accounts.
Although Blue Cube continues to trade under KPMas control, the administrator is hopeful that a buyer will come forward and buy the remains of the firm. A spokeswoman for KPMG says: "Since the business entered into administration, several bidders have expressed interest, one of which is seriously considering putting in an offer. While Blue Cube continues to trade, we will look to market the assets afterwards to repay any outstanding debts."
KEMG's spokeswoman declines to say hew much debt Blue Cube had incurred or the reason for it entering into administration.
She adds: "It's too early to tell, but we expect to get a clearer picture in the coming weeks."
