Driving a KassbohrerSetra Pisten Bully, to prepare ski runs, needs skillful driving, good mechanical knowledge and an "understanding of the snow", says Bully driver manager Henri Joly at the La Rosier ski resort in the Savoy Alps in France. You also need to be a good skier.
Mis-read the snow conditions, get stuck and one of these monster 2150,000 machines could be out of service for hours—and Henri would not be happy. Working two shifts a night, each machine has to prepare about 12 acres per shift and drivers can earn 2280 a week with bonuses.
