• The straight chassis frame is stronger and stiffer than before, allowing it to accommodate a subframe with fourpoint ball mountings for attaching demountable bodywork and implements. The simplest fitting is a factory-built aluminium dropside body, and the alternatives are almost endless, from pitters and jetters to tankers and mowers. Electronics make control of the VariePower hydraulic systems easier (a "joystick" control covers most situations), and there are two separate hydraulic circuits.
Servicing requirements are much reduced, the engines requiring an oil change at 1,200 hours; the vehicle will also happily use "bio-diesel' as well as vegetable-based hydraulic oil A torque-converter transmission will be available for heavy towing jobs.
