\pproved lveco Trucks dealer Bristol Street Commercials has begun a
lew era with its high-tech Avonmouth facility, reports Kevin Swallow.
Bristol Street Commercials has opened a Dm state-of-the-art site inAvonmouth, turning it from a satellite operation to a ully-flcclged Iveco Trucks outlet.
The dealership, a subsidiary of the Bristol .treet Group and the South-West distributor if Iveco Truck vehicles, has moved to St 4artins Industrial Estate, Avonmouth.'The iroject took three years to complete.
General sales manager Andy Williams xplains the move:"The impact our new Wonmouth premises and facilities will have 0 our business is very exciting: since taking ,ver the Bristol area franchise,my team and I ave been longing for the day when we could isplay our true intentions for quality support and service to operators throughout the South-West," he says.
One-stop shop
• ihe site enhances the firm's potential in the new and used markets.explains managing director David Lomax, by offering a "comprehensive, one-stop solution to commercial vehicle operators — while considerably strengthening I veco's coverage in the Bristol and Avonmouth area".The facility joins existing sites in Gloucester and Swindon.
The move from St Andrews Trading Estate has added 12 jobs to the 25-strong staff. with another 13 posts expected to be filled over the next 18 months.
