A NORTH-EAST recycling firm has acquired two new lveco Trakkers following successful field trials in Italy.
Middlesbrough-based Tonks Waste Recycling was invited by its local dealer, North East Truck & Van, to try a range of Trakkers in a Tuscan quarry.
Its new 8x4 Trakkers are fitted with RO-RO skip-loader bodies manufactured by Tipper Gears in Blaydon. They will be in action five and a half days a week, covering 50,000km a year.
