CONSTRUCTION HAULIER NWH Group has taken delivery of nine MAN TGS 8x4 tippers. They are working on the Dalkeithbased operator's contract with Barn Construction building the Borders railway between Edinburgh and Tweedbank.

The muck-away specification MAN 8x4s have steel outreach bodies, Edbro tipping gear, on-board weighing equipment and rollover easy sheets.

They were acquired on five-year hire purchase packages through MAN Financial Services and join four existing 8x4s running on NWH's construction services fleet.

MD Mark Williams said: "MAN carne to our attention in 2010. We took six tractor units then, and that good experience led us to take on four eight-wheelers for the tipper fleet.
