DRINKS company DiageRfamous for Guinness, Red Stripe and Smimoff Vodka, has transferred 15 drivers' jobs and one manager's role to an outside haulier in Speyside, Scotland, as part of a reorganisation of its logistics operation.
From the end of September, the drivers, who transport the byproducts of whisky rather than the whisky itself, will become staff of McPherson Transport, based at A herlour, Banffshire.
A spokesman for Diageo says that subcontracting the work should give the company more flexibility.
