MASKED ROBBERS overpowered a security guard and stole two trucks from James Irlam's yard in Grantham last week.
The trucks, which contained Easter eggs, crisps and washing powder. were taken at 1.30am on Sunday. The security guard was tied up and dumped in the yard.
More than two hours later police attempted to pull over a Vauxhall Vectra that was speeding on the Al. When it failed to stop it was pursued and brought to a standstill by a 'stinger'.
Four men were arrested and taken to Halifax police station before being transferred to Grantham police for questioning about the robbery. They have been released on police bail but not charged.
The security guard did not need hospital treatment but was slightly injured and shocked by the attack.
