XCLUSIVE RECRUITMENTwiII continue to meet both customers and candidates in order to maintain high standards, says boss Dave Doolan. It specialises in piecing personnel into the express parcel and logistics businesses and only deals with permanent positions.
"We'll be three years old in June, says Doolan, and we've developed an admirable reputation in our sector, based on our honest and straightforward approach."
He meets customers in order to understand their specific needs: "I visit their premises to understand their business culture," he says.
In the two years since CA4first met Doolan, Xclusive has moved from being a home-based concern to an office operation. The original two-strong husband-and-wife team has expanded into a workforce of five people. "We recruit at all levels, from supervisors to site and regional managers," says Doolan.
Much of this company's work is generated by positive word of mouth. Some recruitment outfits do not take the time to place the correct staff with the right firm, which means disappointment for customer and candidate alike.
Doolan travels the country interviewing candidates in person, to ensure they are of the right quality. "Our whole business is built upon integrity and honesty," he explains. The statistics would seem to bear this out: retention rates for staff his firm have placed stand at 95% at the end of the first year of a placement.
