THREE examples of Conveyancer .1 fork-lift trucks will be shown by Conveyancer Fork Trucks .(Canada), Ltd., at the Canadian International Trade Fair from June 2-13. The model E.2-20/3W battery-electric truck, a three-wheeler which drives and steers On. its s:ngle -Tear wheel, has a lifting capacity of 2,000 lb. at 1 ft. 8 ins, load centre.

The pump which feeds the hydraulic cylinder is electrically driven and starts automatically when the lift or tilt controls are operated.

The second battery-electric model to be shown will be the E.4-20, which carries a load of 4,000 lb. at 1 ft. 8 ins. load centre from the beef of the forks: It has a. speed of 5f m.p.h. with full load, with which it can climb a 1-in-10 gradient.

Accessories and special attachments available include fork extensions, iib cranes, load guards, squeeze clamps, rotating heads, booms and side shifts.

The largest model to be exhibited will be Lbe 6-20, which has a capacity up to 6,000 lb. A choice of either a petrol or oil engine is given in conjunction with a hydraulic turbo-drive and automatic gearing. A full range of accessories and attachments is also available for this model.

The exhibiting company is a subsidiary of Conveyancer Fork Trucks, Ltd., Liverpool Road, Warrington.

F. Perkins, Ltd., Peterborough, will display engines of the P.3, P.4 and P.6 designations, and a Boyles surfacediamond 'drill fitted With a P.6. The company states that few oil engines for road use are made in Canada. A subsidiary was recently formed with offices in Toronto. Over 1,000 farm tractors with Perkins engines are operating in the Dominion.
