• The licence held by the Blundell and Rimmer Group has been renewed for two years only by North Western Deputy LA Kenneth Birchall.
The company had applied to renew its licence for 83 vehicles and 110 trailers, and the DLA had considered taking action over its maintenance record. There were also seven environmental objections to plans for basing seven vehicles at the New Wholesale Market, Preston, Lancs.
