• Industrial action by drivers at three Iceland frozen food depots has been postponed until September after talks on a 3.5% wage rise broke down this week.
Talks are due to resume on 21 September after management and Transport and General Workers Union officials failed to agree on a 3.5% minimum pay rise.
"There are a number of outstanding problems," says TGWU official John Beard, who is negotiating for 800 drivers and warehousemen at Iceland's Deeside, Milton Keynes and Stratford, east London depots.
