• Suttons Distribution has acquired seven 13.6m Lawrence David pillarless-roof curtainsiders fitted with swingout posts at the rear for handling rolls of newsprint. The flexibly mounted, bolted body has air-operated tracks recessed into the floor that aligns with those in docking bays. When unloading, the corner posts swing out for extra clearance, the tracks raise and skates slide beneath the rolls. In transit, the tracks lower the rolls gradually on to the deck. For reduced maintenance costs Sutton& also specified pre-painted doors and galvanised rear frames.
