A TWO-WOMAN team takes over next week in charge of Transport 2000, the pro-rail public transport and environmental lobby group.
Susan Hoyle, formerly with the National Federation of Women's Institutes, has succeeded Keith Buchan as executive director, following Mr Buchan's departure to join the Greater London Council freight unit. Her assistant is Susie Ohlenschlager, who was previously with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. She specialised in bicycle safety at Rospa. Her post at Transport 2000 was occupied latterly by Nick Lester, who stepped down as executive director earlier this year when he became chairman of the London Transport Passengers Committee, and who has now left Transport 2000.
The third member of the team, Jonathon Roberts, remains in his present post.
