TWO COMPANIES with adjacent premises in Essex have become partners in a £90,000 security package to give comprehensive security standards at both depots.
Containerbase and Freightliners have installed an integrated electronic intruder alarm system to cover the 34-acre site in Barking.
All elements of the system are linked to a central control point in the Containerbase's Security Department. A secondary system films and records on video details of every vehicle and container to enter or leave during "out of business" hours.
Containerbase Barking is one of the larger in the Group's network and currently handles over 100,000 tonnes of import/export cargo a year.
