• Renault has now added the final major component to its Master range with the launch of the Chassis/Double Cab version.
The extended cab, which is only available on the longwheelbase chassis, seats four extra passengers who enter through glazed rear side doors.
The rear section is fully trimmed to match the front, and comes with sliding windows and four head restraints, with full three-point seat belts for the outer occupants and lap belts for the cen. tre passengers, The new model is powered by a naturally aspirated diesel or a DI turbo-diesel, with prices from £19,858 to £21,150 (exVAT). The full range of options
and body colours is available.
Renault expects its new model to further stimulate the market for chassis/crewcabs: demand grew by 16% in the first 11 months of 1998 compared with the same period of 1997.
