• Epoxy-based knifing fillers often known as molecular or plastic metals, are widely used for repairs, and usually reckoned to have a usable life of around 30-45 minutes and take from 12 to 18 hours to fully set — less in cold weather.
Quentsplass has brought out a version known as Quentsplass Emergency with a working life of five to 10 minutes according to the temperature and that sets within 10 to 15 minutes.
Like all the Quentsplass range of plastic metal knifing fillers it may be used in a one to one ratio by weight or volume. It is available direct from the manufacturer.
