KNOWN as the Model X61V, a new radio set, suitable for installation in coaches, has been introduced by Phi lips Electrical, Ltd., Shaftesbury Avenue, London, W.C.2, to operate on long, medium and V.H.F. wavebands. ' A standard aerial serves for both A.M. and F.M. circuits.
The set has seven valves and its output is sufficient for up to four loudspeakers. There are push buttons for station and waveband selection, and the price with one 7-in.-diameter speaker is £51 9s., including purchase tax.
