vehicles which, it says, will help to curb the impact of its business on the environment.
Its eco2 motors meet three global environmental standards, one for each phase of the life cyclemanufacture, use, and end-of-life.
They have to be produced in an ISO-14001-certified plant; emissions must not exceed 140g/km (5.3 lit/100km); and the vehicles must be 95% reusable with at least 5% of their plastic components having been recycled.
As yet, however, the range does not include any light CVs.
Renault is confident that some models in the next Kangoo line-up, to be launched in 2008, will wear the eco2 badge, but doesn't expect any larger models to comply with all those standards in the Renault near future.
