• Dorset-based Hoyland Haulage has been saved from the receiver by the father and brother of its former chairman (CM 5-11 Sept).
Tony and Dean Hoyland, who bought the Lim turnover general haulage and tipper hire business last month, are aiming for a turnover of up to £1.5m in the first year. They have kept on all 23 trucks and 30 staff from the Poole site, including the former chairman, Jim Hoyland, who is now a traffic clerk.
