• Widnes ERF dealer Perris and Kearon is now providing parts and service for MANs too.
"There was a small MAN outlet a few minutes down the road from us, and we've taken on its staff" says MD Steve Bradley.
"That means we've added io fitters, two paitsmen, and a service administrator to our payroll. We've also acquired responsibility for 130 MANs that are being maintained under contract," he says
The local MAN parc is approximately 6o% of the ERF parc, which means a big increase in aftersales business.
Bradley's looking forward to 2oo5, despite believing the new truck market will decline by 57°4 during next year.
"With the introduction of the new model we've now got ERFs to sell," he says. "Not having new vehicles available for a while was a bit of a disaster for us, and we're glad the franchise is at last returning to stability."
