BUSINESS POST'S UK Pallets division has denied that it is in crisis following the loss of its fourth network member this year.
Telford-based UK Tran-Stor closed on 31 July when directors John and Diane Soltys placed the firm into voluntary liquidation,The company lost £76,571 last year.
Business Post spokesman Bill Wallis says: All the pallet networks have had the same issues over time it's bound to happen. You're dealing with big companies — quite clearly you do the best to check them out before you take them on as a partner, but then business can change.

• Lancaster-based Kidds Transport has joined UK Pallets following a six-year partnership with its rival Palletline. It will cover Lancaster and the area to the north, up to and including Kendal.
