• Consideration of action against Dewsbury-based West Yorkshire Bulk Transport has been adjourned because transport manager Richard Hayley is unwell. The company was called before North Eastern TC Keith Waterworth after being ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £16,389 for a series of offences,
Decision later
• West Midland TC David Dixon has reserved his decision on what environmental conditions to impose on the Sutton Coldfield operating centre of Transform Shop Office and Bar Fitters, following representations from Birmingham City Council and neighbouring residents.
Formal warning
• Sheffield-based Martyn Burke, trading as MB Transport, escaped with a formal warning after giving a number of undertakings relating to his maintenance arrangements at a Leeds disciplinary inquiry.
Bid rejected
• Gloucester-based Overland Haulage's application for a seven-vehicle/10-trailer international licence was turned down by Western TC Christopher Heaps at a Bristol inquiry.
Conditions imposed
• Taylor Group has been granted an increase in authorisation from four vehicles to eight vehicles and two trailers, but the use of artics is banned.
