FULL MARKS TO Denby for having the balls (and the wallet) tc bring the Eco-Link LHV issue to some kind of conclusion by running one (Letters. CM 26 November).
This government persistently hides behind the fact that we're part of Europe when it wants tc avoid decisions — or that we're not part of Europe when it wants tc avoid other decisions. In almost every case it leaves the UK behind and disadvantaged economically.
It's not surprising we criticise the French, but secretly admire the way they look after their national inter est. They seem to make decisions based on economic expediency. Mark Carrington Managing director King Vehicle Engineering
