• Rickaby & Lee, the Yorkshire-based distribution company, has started the expansion plans it announced in the summer by diversifying from its core DIY distribution business into the food sector (CM 5-11 July). It hopes to scoop three "major food distribution contracts" worth more than £2m, says operations director Dennis Swannell.
