with special needs such as learning difficulties by taking them on angling holidays which it uses as a `hook' for social and educational training. The charity is appealing to CM readers for help in providing a diesel minibus, or donations toward it.
The angling trips range from a summer's evening outing to a week-long camping and fishing trip in Surrey, Scotland, Suffolk and Wales. According to the organiser, teacher Doug HuIme: "The children come from a variety of backgrounds . . a number have been either sexually or physically abused, a large percentage come from split families, quite a few come from impoverished homes while a good number come from `ordinary' caring homes Kit have simply a learning problem."
