• Transfleet Services Ltd, a Scottish company .specializing in commercial vehicle contract hire and leasing, has moved its head office to the Corn Exchange, Stirling. Transfleet, jointly owned by the Falkirk-based Walter Alexander group and Chr. Salvesen, has been operating for nearly a year at Falkirk.
At a reception in Stirling, Mr James Kane, the firm's marketing manager, said: "The business is in a state of rapid growth— at the present rate we will turn over well in excess of Lim in our first 12 months."
Transfleet, which offers a number of contract-hire and leasing schemes and which presently services individual contracts ranging from four to 150 vehicles, also operates from Sheffield, Liverpool and Sunderland.
