• A suspension seat that can be adjusted for height and tilt angle has been introduced by UOP Bostrom (UK) Ltd, Weedon Road Industrial Estate, Northampton, was developed from the company's Viking 3000 suspension seat and is known as the Viking 301. The height adjuster is Ideated between the cushion section and the suspension mechanism and provides 2in. of adjustment; the front of the seat can be locked in one of four positions and the rear in three positions, the rear of the frame having a three-notch extension. This means of positive adjustment does not affect mid-ride automatic positioning by the weight of the operator which is a characteristic of all Viking seats.
New coding has been introduced by the company whereby the Viking 3000 becomes the Viking 300 (the 301 is an additional model) and the Viking 4000 becomes the Viking 400.
