No Pre-Mix • Cardiff-based Consolidated Pre-Mix's four vehicle licence has been revoked by South Wales Deputy LA Gerrard Sullivan, after the company failed to attend a Cardiff disciplinary inquiry.
Hearing adjourned • The hearing of 94 charges alleging offences involving tachograph falsification by Nottinghamshire-based F C Tomlinson & Son, its managing director Jeffrey Tomlinson, and four of its drivers, has been adjourned until 23 March by Leigh. Lancashire magistrates.
Couple banned • Fairwood Transport & Shipping's licence has been revoked and the Gorseinonbased firm's partners John and Patricia Davies banned from holding a licence for two years. South Wales deputy LA Gerrard Sullivan said his information was that one of the company's vehicles was now on someone else's licence.
Prizeflow cut • Nlaintenance problems have led to the authorisation on the licence held by Whitburn, West Lothianbased Prizeflow, being cut from 20 vehicles and 10 trailers to 14 vehicles and two trailers. Scottish LA Michael Betts has also directed that the licence terminate at the end of next January.
