POLICE ARE APPEALING for witnesses following the theft of a truckload of Disney beach towels worth £170,000. The thieves struck during the night of 4-5 February on the A14 close to Swavesey, Cambridgeshire.The 14,000 towels have various designs including Minnie Mouse,Tinkerbell,Power Rangers and Buzz Lightyear.
PC Katy Tyerman says: "I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and has information regarding this incident to contact me. I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered Disney towels for sale. These products are only ever sold in the Disney Store."
