Cisterns Cobo (UK) MD Tony Blakeway is joining the small but vocal band of disenchanted trailer manufacturers who say they can no longer lustily exhibiting at an annual NEC CV Show.
Blakeway reckons there is no organisation within the NEC show specifically for tanker people and that it's "hellishly expensive". Both Cobo and market leader Heil have turned their backs on the NEC for 2005, preferring to exhibit at the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers (FPS) event at Telford on 21-22 April, However, Blakeway insists: "The best show we ever had was RHA TankCon at Blackpool. We'll be going to the FPS at Telford, but I'd love to see TankCon back on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday"
