TRAVEL AGENTS have been told of substantial cutbacks in the British and Continental coach holiday programme, planned by National Travel (South East) Ltd to operate from London. Overseas holidays are hit hardest with a number of tours to the USA, Canada, France, Spain, Portugal. Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, Holland and France being cancelled.

Besides complete withdrawal of 12 tours other Continental arrangements have been curtailed with, for example, only one departure of the Higklights of Europe tour.

There have also been cancellations to the Britisl programme with particula attention to south Devon the Clyde Coast ant Southern Ireland. Nationa Travel points out, however that the vast majority of UI4 cancellations take plac( during April and May an are only a small percentagi of total departures througt the season.
