VOSA SAYS that unspecified “technical issues” delayed the introduction of changes to its OCRS compliance grading system.
Originally scheduled to change on 30 April, Vosa warned operators that the “improvements to OCRS could not be introduced at the end of April as previously planned”.
A spokesman for the agency tells CM: “We are working on resolving the issues so that we can introduce the OCRS changes as soon as possible.
“When the changes are introduced, we’ll send out notification through Vosa Direct [the government agency’s regular email update system].” Vosa overhauled the programme’s predictive scoring points system after hauliers and the Freight Transport Association said it created a “misplaced assumption by the wider business community that OCRS is a good way to judge an operator at tender”.
