“It’s safe to use a curtainsider to transport barrels of flammable liquid, provided the cargo is properly secured, the driver has received appropriate training, and the requirements of ADR are complied with.
“I wonder how many organisations have a copy of, or are even aware of the existence of, the Code of Practice Safety of Loads on Vehicles? It is a mine of information, and is available in hard copy from the Stationery Office or as a free download on the DfT website.”
