ANCHORPAC has developed three new waste compaction systems. The smallest compactor is a rugged fully automatic 0.5-metre size A-600 unit suitable for installation outside a smallto medium-size supermarket and medium-size hotel to accept on-the-spot handling of waste perishables.
The large one-metre A1000 and the two-metre A2000 compaction units are designed to handle all waste, including the bulkiest of packing crates, generated by larger organisations including office blocks, hotels and factories.
Once the waste is placed in the charge box, the unit cycles automatically to compact it to a fraction of its former bulk and then passes it through into a sealed compaction container.
All three Anchorpac units are fitted with a separate power pack to reduce noise to a minimum and are fully weather-proofed. Use of compaction can reduce transport costs, minimise fire hazard, prevent vermin, and improve the working environment.
Anchorpac is at Bell Lane, Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
