A NEW guaranteed daily 14-hour depot-to-depot import/export ser. vice between France and Italy has been launched by Seabourru France SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Seabourne Express Ltd the company which won the Queen's Award for export achieve ment this year.
The new service will be operated by Seabourne France from its headquarters and freight terminal at Gennevilliers, Paris, at the group's Italian agency, Sotrans Sri Transport International in Mi
Ian. The service will be entire', French-operated, using a fleet o new French-registered vehicles.
Vehicles will leave Paris ani Milan each afternoon on thi 900km overnight route, arrivin! at both depots the follovvinf morning. Because of th distances involved, each vehicl will carry two drivers, who wi accompany the lorry throughoi. the journey.
Other features of the new sei vice are a flat tariff system c charging and computer controlled freight movements.
