(CNN Sept-2 Oct) the London Cycling Campaign and the FTA were keen to hand out aides-memoire to all and sundry to remind them to look out for other road users. Truck drivers got handy tacho chart holders emblazoned with forthright slogans; the cyclists got a similarly logo-covered saddle cover. Unfortunately the general Impression of this nylon monstrosity was that it looked like a shower cap and no cyclist worth his salt would be seen with it anywhere near his steed (or, indeed, his bottom). And how ls it meant to remind you to watch out for trucks If you can't see it because you're sitting on it?
