MAN DEALER HRVS has introduced 24-hour operating at two of its four sites following an increase in work.
The dealer has moved to a 24-hour three-shift workshop at its Coalville site, near Leicester, following an increase in the number of MANs at DHL in Bardon, said operations director Keith Sims.
"We had to recruit another four-strong shift of technicians at Coalville. We cherry-picked from the existing sites so we had experienced technicians in there from the start," he said.
HRVS now has vacancies for technicians, including one at Coalville, one at Ripley and two at Newton, near Nottingham. The move to a 24-hour threeshift operation at Scunthorpe was planned to meet the requirements of a new seven-year contract; it increases the number of technicians there to 27
Sims also revealed that building work is under way to convert a valet/wash bay into an ADR and pet-reg facility in Scunthorpe.
