• Thermostatically controlled cooling fans designed to maintain engine temperature at the optimum figure for efficient running have been introduced as a factory option by Ford Motor Co. Ltd.
Called the Dynair Thermo Fan, the unit costs £35 from Ford Special Vehicle Order Department and includes a thermo-pneumatic valve and temperature-sensing capsule for the engine cooling system. It is available on D300 and D800 truck models, and on 0600 to D800 tractive units.
