has recently been altered in scope. Do the changes affect road hauliers' position concerning levies and grants?
ARoad hauliers are not directly affected by
the changes in the scope of the Road Transport Industry Training Board proposed recently by the Minister for Employment and Productivity. The intention is to exclude from the scope of the RTITB the wholesale selling of tyres for motor vehicles and the public warehousing of petroleum products. Other changes would bring the repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery within the scope of the Board. The Minister has *asked for comments on these changes by April 17. They affect schedule 1 of the Industrial Training Order (Road Transport Board) 1966.
