Magistrates in Grays, Essex disqualified Daniel Ryan, 39, of Raphael Avenue in Tilbury, Essex, for six months and fined him £150 with £35 costs for leaving a tacho chart in the machine for longer than the permitted time and driving without insurance.
Lawrence Martin, 29, of Pine Bank, Craigavon, County Armagh, Northern Ireland, was fined £500 with £75 costs for a series of offences between August and October 1993. He was convicted of two charges of exceeding the fortnightly driving limit, two charges of failing to take a weekly rest period and two charges of exceeding the daily driving limit. He also failed to produce tachograph charts.
