aNT Express has donated, lock stock and barrel, an MAN tractor unit and trailer to Reading charity Feed the Children for use in collecting goods from around the country and for trucking aid into Europe to centres of need in Bosnia and Albania.
The truck has been in the TNT fleet for a number of years but was completely reconditioned before being handed over. This is not the first time TNT has helped the charity—it took a load of food to Croatia last Christmas, collected from its staff throughout the UK.
For its part, Feed The Children is now expanding its aid operation to include the beleaguered refuges of Rwanda where its first team has just arrived.
