TO DEVELOP BUSINESS for its newly acquired Isuzu Trucks (UK) franchise, Birminghambased M6 Commercials reveals it will target businesses in a twomile radius from its Nechells site.
M6 Commercials sales manager John Sheridan says he is looking to target all businesses close to the dealership in Premier Street. Previously, M6 Commercials ordered stock from Isuzu for the municipal vehicles it serviced and maintained.
Managing director Andy Savery has invested more than £25,000 getting the site up to speed for its first dedicated truck franchise.
"We took the franchise because it has better trucks, in my opinion. They are very underestimated," he says. "And Isuzu has a new range of heavier trucks, doubling its [previous] range up to 18-tonnes."
To get things running, Isuzu Trucks (UK) has opened up a line of credit so M6 can stock vehicles.
The firm has also increased its workforce to 10, and is looking for two more technicians.
