SMALLER FIRMS coming back to the market is key to a successful 2010 in the used van sector, says Broadway Motor Company.
During the current climate, smaller firms, which are a central part of the used van market, have been reluctant to spend money on replacing their vans, but Ian Griffiths, Broadway national sales leader, argues that sufficient confidence is returning to the market for them to spend on used rather than buy new.
"What we are seeing is small-tomedium sized businesses coming to us with vehicles that are on their last legs, and which have been nursed through the recession.
"They feel confident enough to buy a much better vehicle and see a quality used van as the best solution," he says.
In turn, this has led Griffiths to begin harbouring optimism for used sales in 2010.
