The firms found themselves in front of TC Bell after a Translact truck was involved in a fatal accident on the A303 in Wiltshire in March 2007.
Neville and Cheryl De'Ath were killed after a Translact ERF hit their car and pushed it into the opposite carriageway. It was then hit by another car.
Investigations revealed driver Maciej Szcygiecki, had been at the wheel for 16 hours without a break. He was jailed for four years after pleading guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. Last year, Translact and Tayrnix Transport were acquitted of charges of manslaughter over the accident. But Translact was fined £40,000 for breaches of health and safety legislation at Winchester Crown Court in September 2009.
Director Robert Taylor was fined £7,200 for health and safety breaches, Christopher Taylor, director of Taymix, was fined £4,500 for the same breaches; and company secretary Claire Rideout was fined a total £8.000, but these were for neglect of duty.
