Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

is the latest product to be launched by ICS Black Box, Shepshed.

It is an on-board data monitoring product designed for fleets where vehicles are driven by many different drivers. Using smart-card technology, Guard Black Box also provides a fleet's multi-driver vehicles with high security benefits.

The unit can be fitted to all types of vehicle and also to mobile plant and handling equipment. In addition to the usual data monitoring features of a normal "black box", the new device has the following functions: swipe card driver identity feature; automatic downloading by radio; Windows-based software.

The swipe card authorisation reader unit is mounted on the dashboard. This is linked to the vehicle immobiliser and to the on-board data collection computer. Once activated the unit will cover all data parameters including time, distance, speed, harsh braking, engine overrevving and any other operatorspecified data.

This information can either be downloaded manually or automatically. The latter is by radio and occurs once the vehicle passes within 100m of a receiver unit at the depot.
