• Poplar Recovery Systems has introduced a beavertail car recovery body for the Sevel range of chassis cabs with an AL-KO chassis conversion. With the single-axled chassis conversion, the vehicle's GVW can be raised to 3.4 tonnes for those wishing to avoid 0-licensing. Using different wheels, suspension and brakes takes this up to 3.85 tonnes for licensed operators and to 4.5-tonnes with the tandemaxle conversion.
On the single-axle conversion Poplar's slopingis 4.8m long,
