ATRUCK DRIVER has called for more support from other drivers in his campaign for better facilities at motorway service areas.
Barrie Tozer, who runs the Truckersworld website, hopes to meet leading MSA operators including Roadchef and Moto to discuss parking, food, shower facilities and security.
But he says few drivers have come forward: "There are an estimated 246,000 drivers out there with around 50% having access to the internet. In one month I have only had six complaints from drivers about MSAs.
"If I meet the top men and tell them only six drivers are not happy with the facilities their reaction could only be to laugh."
Tozer's long-running campaign for improvements at supermarket RDCs led to drivers being given emergency overnight parking and access to canteens.
