AN order for 250 complete doubledeck buses with maintenance spares has been placed with A.C.V. Sales, Ltd., by the Teheran Omnibus Board.
The chassis will be Regent Mk. V with Monocontrol transmission and the bodies will be by Park Royal. This order, claimed to be the largest ever received from overseas by any. British manufacturer for complete double-deck buses, represents a total value of approximately £2m. sterling.
